专利说明:
Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a shallow subwoofer of the type that can be used in a lower range of the audible range such as 30 Hz- 3 kHz. Background of the Invention Subwoofers of the type mentioned suffer from a number of drawbacks such as material use, size (depth) in order to provide sufficient sound pressure during intended use. It is an object to overcome problems and obtain a workable subwoofer in the intended frequency range. It is further object to enable and provide compact and shallow solution. Description of the Invention An object is achieved by shallow subwoofer type of loudspeaker, the shallow subwoofer having a chassis and comprising a membrane with voice coil along an excitation path arranged to interact with a pole piece arrangement comprising a first pole with a voice coil end with a first pole face and a second pole with a voice coil end with a second face, which first and second faces are configured to form a gap along an gap path and to magnetically interacting with the voice coil. The first pole may have a multiple first magnet ends and the second pole has corresponding multiple second magnet ends, where a corresponding first and second magnet ends are configured to couple with a magnet. In an aspect, the first pole and the second pole are complementary star-shaped magnetic ends wherein each leg has a recess for complementary engagement with the magnet. The outlined shallow subwoofer may be suitable and intended to operate in a frequency range of 30 Hz- 3 kHz. A person skilled in the art will appreciate that the rage is DK 2018 70191 A1 indicative. The constructions shown will perform with a desired frequency response in the range indicated. By shallow subwoofer is achieved a compact and shallow powered subwoofer. The subwoofer may have a size of 4”, 5”, or 7” or there between and will find use as a compact and very shallow powered subwoofer. In an aspect, the first and second magnetic ends are arranged outside the chassis and the first and second voice coil ends are arrange inside the chassis. Thus the magnets and the magnetic ends can be cooled. The shape of the magnetic ends may be fan-like towards the voice coil end so as to distribute the magnetic flux from the magnets towards respective pole faces thereby achieving a uniform magnetic flux distribution in the gap. A person skilled in the art will appreciate a wealth of magnetic materials suitable as pole material. In an embodiment the chassis is made of a non-magnetic metal such as aluminium. The chassis may be an alloy, including aluminium, of non-magnetic materials. In an aspect, one, more or all magnets are symmetrical about the magnetisation axis (N-S-axis); including spherically formed magnets. Thereby providing a well-defined magnetic source of magnetic flux to be distributed from the magnetic end of the first and second poles. In an aspect one, more or all magnets have point like pole ends at the respective Npole and S-pole. The point-like pole ends may include rotational symmetrical shapes or pyramid shapes. DK 2018 70191 A1 In an aspect the first and second pole faces are configured to form the gap and the gap path corresponding to an excitation path of a substantially stiff membrane. The membrane has a plurality of structure paths each single structure path substantially extending between the excitation path and the suspension path and along each individual structure path being non-flush structures to the otherwise flush outward face wherein the projection of the structure paths has the shape of a curve section of one or more curves or approximations thereto and chosen amongst: a Fibonacci spiral, a golden spiral, an Archimedean spiral, a Euler spiral, a Fermat's spiral, a hyperbolic spiral, a logarithmic spiral, or combinations thereof. The construction of the structural paths is well described in patent application WO 2017/076413 A1. The structural paths have shown also to be advantageous in the case of a centrally excited membrane that is suspended at the outer part. A membrane as disclosed may be substantially stiff and move as a piston. In particular the suggested membrane with structural paths as disclosed above further enables a shallow form factor and a substantially linear response in the intended frequency range of 30 Hz to 3 kHz. In an aspect the membrane is suspended at the outer periphery by a suspender, which suspender has a structure path wherein each single structure path has the shape of a curve section of one or more curves or approximations thereto and chosen amongst: DK 2018 70191 A1 a Fibonacci spiral, a golden spiral, an Archimedean spiral, a Euler spiral, a Fermat's spiral, a hyperbolic spiral, a logarithmic spiral, or combinations thereof. By applying the structural paths outlined and known from WO 2017/076413 A1, unwanted modes can be even further dampened. The outlined subwoofer allows for the use of spherical Neo-type Magnets. The outlined subwoofer minimises the need for steel in the magnet and pole arrangement. The outlined subwoofer allows for voice coil air rush cooling. The outlined subwoofer allows for use of the so-called “Fibona Membrane” disclosed in WO 2017/076413 A1, which content is incorporated herein as for the construction of structure paths and aspects of the membrane. The outlined subwoofer allows for a resonance optimized rubber surround suspension. Overall the outlined subwoofer allows for a shallow or very shallow subwoofer with a suitable performance in the intended frequency range of about 30 Hz- 3 kHz. An object may be achieved by a pole piece arrangement for an audible range loudspeaker and comprising a first pole with a voice coil end with a first pole face and a second pole with a voice coil end with a second face, which first and second faces are configured to form a gap along an activation periphery and to magnetically interacting with the voice coil wherein the first pole has a multiple first magnet ends and the second pole has corresponding multiple second magnet ends, where a corresponding first and second magnet ends are configured to couple with a magnet. In an aspect, the first pole and the second pole are complementary star-shaped magnetic ends wherein each leg has a recess for complementary engagement with the magnet. DK 2018 70191 A1 In an aspect the first and second voice coil ends have opposing first and second pole faces, the faces being substantially perpendicular to the legs of the star; and the first and second pole faces encircling an aperture substantially in the centre of the star. The pole piece arrangement outlined may be implemented in a loudspeaker including the shallow subwoofer outlined. In an aspect the second pole may be have the voice coil end bending in an L-shape and formed as an annulus part forming a centre hole in the pole arrangement. The first pole may be substantially flat and possibly with an L-shaped or T-shaped end towards the voice end. The L-shaped voice end of the second pole and the L-shaped or Tshaped end of the first pole may form the opposing faces. The first pole may have a centre aperture through which the voice end of the second pole penetrates. A person skilled in the art will be able to further extract details from the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures. In particular the star-like shape of the magnet ends and the transition to a continuous annulus shaped voice end is illustrated. Furthermore specific suggestive aspect relating to flow, aeration and cooling are also evident from the figures.
